Hello all

My neighbour is a personal trainer

She has offered to come to my home twice a week for workouts

So far I have a yoga mat
Kettle bell

Wondering what else I can get?
She is bringing skipping ropes

What weight for dumbbells?
Are resistance bands good?

Anything else I should look up?

I'd wait and see what she advises.
Resistance bands may be useful, they're good for hamstring stretches. But she may not be doing anything that requires them.
Dumbbells... depends how strong you are and what type of moves /number of reps.

If you're skipping you'll want trainers and a really good supportive sports bra!

A mat is honestly the most useful thing and you have that.
A set of dumbbells might be good. I have 2.5lb, 5lb, and 10lb. (I have no idea why they are in lbs not kg). The 5lb is probably the most used one.
I have resistance bands too. But you could wait and see what the trainer recommends.

Just ask her. Otherwise, you risk wasting money buying stuff you will never use.
