Teams - any spreadsheet experts?

does anyone know whether there's a way to edit (as in type into) the spreadsheets that are part of Microsoft Teams on an Android phone? It doesn't seem to let me!

I can't access my registers in class (no small screen, just the big white board) I like to keep a spreadsheet of attendance so I can see absence patterns but at the moment I'm writing a register in my diary, transferring it to my Teams spreadsheet on my desktop and doing online registers which I really don't have time for!

Are you a teacher? Does whoever handles data protection on behalf of your school/organisation know that you keep these additional copies of attendance data? If they don't, you need to run it by them before doing anything else.

Do you use SIMs at school? You can click on history whilst taking a register and it shows attendance across the last few weeks. Or you can talk to the data manager and ask them to email you half termly (or whatever time period is most useful) updates.

There is a teams app which lets you edit it in excel (but you need both on your phone)

Sims will let you see an attendance herringbone for each student.

There's also a report which will tell you which sessions are being missed. Eg Monday/Friday being the most popular absence.
Incidentally Thursday usually has the best attendance

Arbor and Bromcom also do the same (albeit that Bromcom is more complicated).

All three depend on your access level but your admin should be able to generate a weekly report for you if required.

Sorry, should have said. I'm in FE. Our groupings are all over the place and students are week in / week off. We have to withdraw before 42 days if people aren't attending so a tracker is really helpful.
