What's the difference between Playmobil and Playmobil 123? Dd turned 1 in September would she be old enough for it for Christmas? If so any sets anyone would recommend?

I have a class of 10 year olds and they love proper Playmobil- so 1 is faaaar too young. The pieces are tiny.

The normal playmobil has soooo many tiny parts! My 4 year old likes it but can’t do lots of the more intricate stuff solo, so it’s a little wasted - and we have to keep it very safe from the 2 year old who can’t be trusted with it!

Like the difference between duplo and lego.
Bigger parts and far less assembly.

Normal playmobil is not suitable for a 1yo.

For a 1 year old only Playmobil123 please!!! It is made for kids under 3 - the pieces are bigger and mainly safe, they are moulded in one piece and won’t break off to be a choking hazard. They are also chunkier and thus better to grip, and more fun for little hands and brains. They can plan with it for ages, so it is worth it, definitely.

Playmobil 123 is brilliant for little ones! We have loads now and my older one still plays with it at 3.5

123 until at least 3. My little ones love the rocket, plane and the people.

Playmobil 123 for little ones! Proper Playmobil has many tiny, tiny parts.

My 4 year old has fantastic fine motor skills and still struggles with Playmobil. It is very very small and very very fiddly.

Definitely get 123! It is very sturdy and will be played with for a long time.
