Hi, I'm baking cookies and I want to use butter instead of vegetable oil, how much do I use? Recipe says 60ml vegetable oil.

Please and thank you Smile

If you weigh 60ml of oil it's about 60g so I'd say 60g butter at a guess.

Wouldn’t you be better to just find a recipe that uses butter in the first place? I’m sure most do, rather than oil.

I normally would use 50 ml of oil if the recipe says 60 g of butter, so always slightly less.
So if your recipe says 60ml of oil, I would use 70 g of butter.

Probably Grin but I saw an end product I liked, I'm testing some Christmas baking ideas in preparation for my DD's gifts to the grandparents.
