I found then in the corner of a carpeted stair. Our carpets are cream so they stood out. I hoovered them up and threw them outside. I checked other areas inside the wardrobes, drawers, and the carpets in the rest of the house and found nothing. They were not near any wardrobes or natural fibres.
Our carpets are all 100% synthetic so not sure if the larve can even eat that? I will vacuum carefully tomorrow and get some bug powder for the area.
We live in an area with a lot of trees, plants etc. Do you think its possible a random single adult carpet beetle has flown in, layed its eggs in that spot and died or whatever they do?
