OMG.. just watching an episode of the West Wing and one of the White Hall press Corps asks the Press Secretary if it was true that a woman had seen one of the pictures in the White House and screamed! Surely this was the OPs inspiration for the now infamous thread?!

The thread was a troll and it was a story line in a Alexander Mccall Smith book , one of the 44 Scotland Street series , one of the characters has Stendhal syndrome
