As the title suggests, I have spoken to a Dr in a telephone consultation tonight, I have to go next Friday for bloods and then straight after, an appointment with a Doctor.

Ovarian cancer screening was mentioned,
All I would like to know is, if you've been through something similar, what were your symptoms and diagnosis, yes I've Googled.. I'm not particularly worried, just interested.

I hope that all the above makes sense..

prolapse

bladder infection

Do you have a contraceptive coil?

I had the same feeling, accompanied with bloating and some bowel issues. Blood tests ruled out anything serious so I was diagnosed with IBS.

I still had the feeling and assumed a prolapse and went back to my GP. I also wanted my coil removed at the same time as it was overdue a removal.

No prolapse but my coil had unbeknownst to me started to make its way out.

After it was removed all my symptoms cleared up! So strange but a relief.

Thanx for your replies,

I'm 54, came off the pill Jan 18. No periods since, apart from some warm flushes, no other symptoms.

After posting this , I had a telephone conversation with my Doctor,
Who is sending me for blood tests, next Friday, with the nurse to rule our ovarian cancer, and a few other tests she wants, and then to see another doctor straight after, to be examined.

Will have to wait and see
