It's important... frozen chips

I love frozen chips. All frozen chips (except sweet potato as they are the food of a satanic Santa) but last month I found the most delicious bag yet.

They were chunky, like a proper hunk of potato, with a delicious crispy coating. My husband threw out the bag without checking the brand. I've tried a few contenders, but no luck.

I think the bad was black/dark blue. Please please help me.

Tesco posh ones! They're beautifully crisp but then amazingly fluffy

Gastro Chips!
We had them for the first time last week with steak and mushrooms.
They are basically coated in lard so fry in the oven. I'm not a chunky chip fan, but they were lush.

I love oven chips especially when they are over cooked

If they were massive and dripping with fat it’s one of the gastro ones I reckon,

I'm sure Aldi's posh chips are in a black bag. I'm only unsure because dh does all the cooking.

OP if you shop at Ocado, could these be the ones?

Lidl have an extremely nice chunky chip in their freezer section - I'm sure the bag is dark but can't remember what colour!
