Tranexamic Acid can I get it OTC?

Bloody prescription has run out, period has turned up early before I have a new prescription - anyone know if I can get tranexamic acid at the chemist first thing??

I really don’t want to spend all tomorrow flooding through all my clothes

You used to be able to buy it otc in boots but I’m not sure if they still do

Is category P so a pharmacist can sell it to you without a prescription

Yep you certainly used to, it was called cyclo-f and available to buy from boots only.

I've just been prescribed this...does it make a big difference?

I usually can’t leave the house the first 2 days due to flooding / clothes changes, then I was having a second period a few days after the first one ended.

Had no flooding last month, and no second period. The tablets make me feel sick for 30mins or so after taking them but then I can get on with my day. Result! Awaiting results of various scans to see if it’s anything underlying
