Oh derxa! I've been on a rollercoaster.

SlantyBaws · 12/11/2020 22:43

Holy shitballs my nerves are shot.

Football is the devil's work on here. But we've got a young talented team that actually want to play for their country.

OllyBJolly · 12/11/2020 22:56

Yep @derxa Showed a bit of bottle which is unusual in our national team!

Scautish · 12/11/2020 22:57

It’s awesome. Can remember watching last tournament in 98. And to get a home game at Hampden too. Happy days.

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 12/11/2020 23:01

DH has already checked the fixtures for next June and discovered that we'll be able watch three games while on holiday...

We scared the cat cheering at the end Grin

derxa · 12/11/2020 23:02

Couldn’t care myself really, but think DP needs a lie down. And he’s freaked the dog out with his shouting, lol

CatrinVennastin · 12/11/2020 23:08

You can’t beat a penalty shootout to shred your nerves!!!

Brilliant result at last.

weebarra · 12/11/2020 23:09

See Ryan Christie, Darren and Faddy trying to hold it together?
DS1 has severe anxiety so really did have to go to bed before extra time. I may have broken DS2s fingers during the shoot out. In 98, DH and I were still at uni. We didn't even live together yet. Now we have three kids and a dog. Terrifying.

stillsomewhatsheldonesque · 12/11/2020 23:09

Ayam lyin doon in a dark room

and it might be spinning a bit Grin

Bubblin a little bit tae. Blush

RJnomore1 · 12/11/2020 23:51

DH and I had just met in 98. I’ve been sat here stunned for ages. Did it really happen?

(Also brilliant from the Celtic boys tonight :-) )

weebarra · 13/11/2020 00:08

Ok RJ, I'm not bitter about the lack of st Johnstone players. Do you think Leigh Griffiths should have come on earlier? I'm amazed he scored that penalty.

BashfulClam · 13/11/2020 00:26

You mean all the team not just a small section 🙄
IamaBluebird · 13/11/2020 00:37

Well done Scotland. David Marshall was our goalkeeper for many years, really pleased for him Smile

highlandcoo · 13/11/2020 00:50

Oh God that Serbian goal in the 90th minute Shock

But what an amazing final result.

So we've got rid of Trump, a vaccine is looking possible and Scotland are in the Euros!!!

Not a bad week Grin

RJnomore1 · 13/11/2020 00:57

I was wondering when griff would get on and I was not confident about that penalty but he was cool as a cucumber.

David Marshall is a brilliant keeper I’m glad he got that save and had his moment.

HRTRefusal · 13/11/2020 01:14

Knots in my stomach are finally starting to subside. What a fantastic night.

Amazing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
It’s given our wee nation a lift when there’s not been much to celebrate recently. Belter of a goal from Christie and 5 confident penalties! Proud 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

nosswith · 13/11/2020 07:03

The better side won. Looking forward to the first competitive Scotland v England match in 21 years (?).
