Anyone got a 'snug' room?

If so, what is it like?

I just cant seem to make my new snug feel right. It's got a sofa and a little table with a lamp, not the nicest of fireplaces and all the dogs toys in it. What can I do to make it super cosy and inviting?

We used to have one. Two walls covered in bookshelves, armchair and small sofa, tv, nice reading lamps... all warm and cozy.

We have a small second living room - is that what a snug is? It has a corner sofa bed, floor lamp, bookcase and TV and games console. It is basically where the kids go to chill.

We have an absolutely tiny one that is more of a reading nook. It looks quaint but is fairly useless in all honesty.

Love mine.

Corner sofa with an overhanging lamp. Tons of picture frames covering the walls. Rug, custom made cushions, blankets, and a throw. Oh and a footstool. Cosy as anything!

This sounds like my actual living room. We live in a flat so all the rooms are small. We have 2x 2 seat sofas, a coffee table, TV and book case.

Better lighting helps. Get some table lamps rather than the main light.

If that's your snug I need to see your actual living room!
