All quiet on the Western Front! DD in her room ( she is in her room soooo much these days!). DH chilling before he makes sausage pasta, which has become one of our fav weekday meals. DD had pizza earlier. I feel virtuous because I have cleaned the kitchen surfaces & the bathroom plus hoovered the landing. Looking forward to watching more episodes of “ Life” later which is brilliant. Might do some Christmas lists this evening. We are cutting back on presents this year & I’m thinking of only sending cards to family/friends that I don’t see often. Need to put the rabbits to bed in a bit. I may be having a cheeky glass of Pinot! 😉

I will see fewer people and the ones I don’t see won’t be seeing me or remember if I got them a card by new year

I think we are one of the few countries that does such a wasteful tradition

Twins asleep in bed, DH doing something on the computer. Pizza in oven, I'm drinking Bailey's. We might watch an episode of either Bake Off or The Boys before family quiz over Zoom later.

We're moving the kids into big beds next week so cleaning is on the to-do list. But not yet, we can put it off a little longer

We've just had a kids' dinner of waffles, fish fingers and sticky beans (no kids yet, but I'm pg and reverted to kiddie tastes!). We're both finishing up some work. Then I plan to stay on the sofa all evening watching Netflix until I go to read in bed! Haven't left the house today, must make more effort tomorrow (in my defence, my workload has been heavy).

Dh just got home from his last 12 hour shift until Tuesday so after dinner we are going to settle in to a rewatch of the crown series 3 ready for series 4 launch on Sunday

The Malbec is coming up to temperature by the log burner and none of us have to be up before half 8 tomorrow 🎉

I’m watching Educating Manchester on my bed on the iPad. The kids are doing some crazy singing app in their room. OH is making them dinner and we are going to order takeaway once the electrician we have in is away. Farrrr too late to cook (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)

Ds is in his first year of uni and had just this minute texted to say that he has to isolate again as another of his 11 flat mates has tested positive for covid. So now I'm trying to sort him out a Tesco delivery slot for food
This will be his second block of 2 week shut in since 15th October

Just had takeaway tea delivered, now lay in the sofa with dd watching small foot. Ds is upstairs in his room playing PlayStation.
Once the film is finished dd is going for a bath. A nice Thursday night.

Me and DH are chilling watching TV, dinner in oven. One DD at uni, one at work. I’m being a bit childish and considering not cooking for her tonight as she ordered a subway delivery for lunch and didn’t ask if I fancied anything (working from home) 🤷🏼‍♀️, who does that!!

Just run a bubble bath for my youngest, the heating is on because it's bloody cold! Dinner consisted of leftover chilli (always better the next day), followed by a glass of red. I just subscribed to Now TV movies and first on my watch list tonight is Doctor Sleep, the follow up to The Shining. So that will be my evening entertainment sorted once DD is settled!

DH is putting younger 2 DC to bed.
DS2 is having a bath.
DS1 is playing with the dog.
I'm trying to do uni work but my WiFi is not playing ball

I'm mumsnetting after what felt like a very long day working from home opposite DH working from home (and it's bloody weird when you both work for the some company, albeit in very different levels and departments, lol), DH has just launched himself from his chair to cook bangers n' mash, one daughter has just finished being tutored and is celebrating with chips and coke, the other daughter has just started her tuition session. . . and the cat is asleep rolled up in a blanket in front of the radiator. . .

Chilling on my sofa with one of the cats with a glass of vino watching funny stuff on TV with DH on his sofa. Going to order a takeaway in a bit.

DH has nipped pit for kebabs . Nice ones, not grotty ones. 3yo seems to be asleep, I assume so. 5yo has snuck out of his room and is lying next to me being very annoying instead of going to sleep. I should really put him back. But don’t want to wake little one (bunk beds).

I am having a glass of wine and some crisps while watching the bake off on catch up after 10 day old DD did a 3 hour cluster feeding session earlier on. DP is waiting for the rugby to start, DD is asleep (finally!) in her basket next to the sofa and DS is fast asleep upstairs clinging onto a new book.

Unpicking my knitting pretty regularly, as the yarn keeps splitting, which is annoying. DH is cooking pork for him and scampi for me. We’ll watch TV and I’ll try and get a bit further with the knitting, without having to take it back.

2 dc are asleep so I am in bed myself browsing MN and will probably be asleep soon.

Dp works away so wont be back until tomorrow.

DD is asleep, I'm watching crappy tv but will pick up my book in a mo. DH has disappeared to his office and I'm feeling very smug as we've had dinner and everything is cleared away. I can't bare coming down to a messy kitchen in the morning!

My DH and DS are watching the Northern Ireland match, we've just had Chinese take away. Im in my cosy PJs scrolling through Mumsnet and going to get stuck into a Christmas novel on my Kindle soon. Can't decide if I'm going to open some wine🤔😁

My twins have just gone to bed, I am in bed drinking tea and dh is downstairs watching TV.

My twins have been in bed half hour but have been chatting to each other from their bedrooms which is quite entertaining. They're 3 6 weeks off being 4. Im sat downstairs now MNetting waiting for DH to get back with the chinese takeaway which I cannot bloody wait for! We will then veg in front of Netflix for an hour or so then bed.

I was just about to give up on trying to feed the toddler to sleep but he seems to be dropping off. When he is asleep I will go and read Harry Potter to the older one. Then I've got a bit of work which I will do in front of something mindless, probably NCIS.

I'm BFing baby DD on the sofa while DH makes us fried eggs. DCat is grooming his anus (his own, I should clarify - not DH's...)

I'm in bed in my pyjamas watching the new episode of this is us before I pack a load of orders for our business.

DH is on a zoom call doing a training session (again for our business)

DD16 is revising upstairs for her history mock tomorrow

DS13 is having a shower I think!
