Doh. Bought morrison delivery pass but amazon do free delivery

I bought an annual morrisons delivery pass then 5 days later got an email from amazon saying I can get Morrison delivery free via prime.

I only spent £35 but would rather have it back than spend it pointlessly. Has anyone managed to get a refund for this?

Annoyed with myself.

Have you had a good look at the selection on Amazon. You won't get the full Morrisons range. I had a look at the favourites on my Mums Morrison list and loads of them don't show up on Amazon. You might be struggling to get your weekly shopping.

Oh really. Maybe I'll keep it then

Yes the selection on Amazon is quite random. Good for an emergency shop but I wouldn't do regular shopping that way. Its also delivered by a person in their own vehicle, so not good for freezer stuff thats just in a cool bag for a while compared to a truck thats properly refrigerated. (Although probably depends how far you are from the warehouse - we are over 45mins away even before allowing time for other stops.)

You might not get the same offers and prices may be higher on Amazon too.

They make a big show of being cheap, but with groceries especially, its often not the case.

Sorry for jumping on your thread. How do you do a Morrisons shop through Prime? Do you use the Amazon app. I currently have covid and I'm in isolation. I guess it'd be too late to get a delivery now, but it'd be useful for the future (hospital worker and exposed to the virus regularly)

ratspeaker · 12/11/2020 20:30

@PolytheneHam look for prime now
I did look at it but as has been said the range was limited

BexR · 12/11/2020 20:35

Jump away @polytheneham I just went on the amazon website.

But not available in all areas yet.

Get well soon x
