Lav seats

Thats the second one I've broken now. I'm not exactly a heifer. A bit overweight but I've snapped 2 loo seats in 6 months. Is it me or are they made out of glass now? I dont know anyone who has broken a loo seat before!!!

Just had to chuckle at 'lav' seats.
My lovely, late DMIL always said 'lav' and DFIL tried to correct her everytime but had no luck whatsoever.
He reckoned that he was a bit posher because he said toilet.
Ahh. I miss them so much.
They bickered most days for over 65 years but were totally devoted and died within 6 months of each other.

Some of them are awful, we had ones breaking constantly every few months but then the ones the house came with have been here 5 years without issue yet they don’t seem as robust as other initially.

I wish the one my wag of a husband bought me for my 50th birthday would break. But it's still going strong nine years later. I recommend wood for longevity.
