Chaos in No10 - aide resigns

Apparently it is all kicking off at the moment. Carrie Symonds reportedly blocked the appointment of an aide as Chief of Staff, so he has resigned and others - including Dominic Cummings - are threatening to walk as well.

Honestly, the country is on its knees with this pandemic and no deal brexit is looming, anyone else think internal party politics is the last thing we need now?

Laura Kuenssberg reporting it? Don't believe it about Cummings till it happens.

And Lee Cain's hardly walked out - it says he's staying till the end of the year.

I'd love to think Carrie was stroking a white Persian cat in a leather chair, but ...

If Cummings goes, that’s an unexpected bonus for a Wednesday evening.

WTF is Syminds doing poking her nose in? Has she got any official role?

LadyWithLapdog · 11/11/2020 22:37

(I mean I’ll get her a hot chocolate if she get rid of dickhead Cummings, but still.)

It isn’t just Laura Kuenssberg, loads of journos on Twitter are running with it but if it’s a storm in a teacup that’s great - as much as I don’t like this government, I want them to focus on sorting out the current shitshow.

Looks like I owe Symonds a hot chocolate.
