Tesco click and collect - a quick question!

I don’t do online shopping so unsure how it works.
I have a Tesco account.
Can I pay for a click and collect order and my dad picks it up from his local shop?
Will he be able to do that without my card details etc?

When we were self isolating we sent the father in law for our shopping. He took our clubcard but was never asked for it.

Yes, I put a note on my click and collect order, and sent the person with a screen shot of my order confirmation.

Yes they just ask for the name it was ordered under

Do I need to order it in his name? Have his car reg? How do they know?
