Ipad help!

Hi, I'd like to but my daughter an iPad for Christmas and I've become very confused with the options! I don't want to spend more than £350 so that rules out some of the more expensive models, but does any clever person know the best I could get for my budget?

I'm keen on the ones with the pen if that makes sense!

Following with interest. Dd wants one we have seen that is £330, and as far as I know she would then buy a pen separately for approx £80.

We've ordered the basic 2020 model direct from Apple for £319. John Lewis and Amazon have it at the same price. Stock fluctuates though. The basic model is plenty for a child

If you want one for Christmas I’d get it ordered pretty quickly. I’m looking at a December delivery and I ordered mine two weeks ago. When I looked especially for the cheaper models they were out of stock everywhere except Apple pre order. (disclaimer that might have changed now)

Second that. I ordered mid October and it's coming next week

I've got it for just under 300 using my uni days discount and it comes engraved as well. Won't be getting the pen - she can either use birthday/Christmas money or I'll look at cheaper alternatives

We found the £329 in the apple store last night but they are out of stock in curry's, John Lewis etc. Delivery 15th dec

You wouldn’t have gotten discount with Black Friday anyway so better to order now and have one than wait and then join the end of a big queue. Apple rarely discounts their products for any sale.
