Daft rules

School are going ahead with an outdoor sports thing today. They've asked for waterproofs if available (which I've sent) as it's pouring down and raining all day according to the forecast. I'm normally fairly conformist when it comes to rules but really if children are being asked to go outside and do P.E. in the rain they should be allowed to get changed after.

I have sent a spare set of clothes despite the rules of no changing. Even if DS just pops on some dry socks/ t shirt I'm sure it'll help. I have soggy knees from doing the school run (gap between coat and wellies) and that feels uncomfortable enough. Cant help but feel v. unfair to those who don't have waterproofs due to not enough time/ money.

Classroom has windows open as well, so damp and chilly. Surely they need to adjust changing in school rules as we head into winter?
