What are the best things to buy from F&M? It's my birthday soon and I want to treat myself to some nice biscuits but delivery is £5.95 so I might get a few treats

I love their marmalade, it tastes very luxurious and special. They usually have some Christmas specials which are lovely.

I had a hamper recently for a big birthday ...
Tin of explorers biscuits ... ( very nice , packed in 2 layers , made them last )
London honeycomb ...( haven't tried it yet )
Fruit cake ( again , in a tin ) ... ( wolfed it down )
Rose petal jelly ( not sure about that one , actually )
Posh chocolate bar ( wolfed it down , and don't remember the name )
Very , very nice bottled raspberries in liquor ... ( again , wolfed down )
Cremant D'Alsace ... ( guess what ? Wolfed down 😀)

I want something nice to spread on my toast. I can't decide between Pale Lime Marmalade, Lemon & Camomile Marmalade, Cinnamon & Apple Curd or normal Strawberry Preserve!

I'm not big on alcohol otherwise I would've tried the Strawberry & Champagne Preserve

Guessing there's no point searching for discount codes?!

Toffolossous biscuits are delish. I like savoury things mostly but just had an F&M delivery yesterday so they're on my mind! The lemon curd is very good too. Truffle mayonnaise, if you're into that sort of thing, and there are loads of nice pickles and chutneys. Their Piccalilli is v good.

Yes, I debated whether to get the chocolate Pearl biscuits or the Explorers box but the latter is bigger so I went for that! Nice to see someone has said the Explorers biscuits are yummy upthread.

We have been given several F&M hampers over the last few years. Biscuits have always been weirdly underwhelming I’ve found, rarely even as good as Tesco Finest or M&S. Crackers and chutneys for cheese are excellent. Chocolate truffles are wonderful. Jams and preserves lovely, the champagne one you mentioned is very nice and you don’t really taste the alcohol.

The Pink Grapefruit Marmalade is my favourite ever, but all of their preserves are excellent quality.

I had the apple curd for Christmas last year. It's nice but very sweet. I got my dad one of the marmalade's and it lasted no time at all.

Can also recommend their cheese straws.

The strawberry & champagne jam is absolutely lush and I don’t recall it being overly boozy in flavour, more like the champagne enhanced the strawberry flavour.

The smoky Earl Grey tea is delicious. I have packs of the tea bags, and they are for my use only.

Also their dark chocolate macadamia nut biscuits disappeared very quickly.

The chocolate pearl biscuits weren’t as popular in our house.

Just been on F & M website, and, I can't find chocolate coated sour cherries. Looked through all the chocolate selection. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

There's dark chocolate cherry liquers called cerisettes.

A search of cherries doesn't bring up actual sour cherries apart from the above and some in kirsch.

None in the 'chocolate coated fruit and nuts' section either, so maybe they aren't doing them this year.

I find their biscuits quite average, but I do love their jams and preserves , their fig chutney is so good ! And as so many have mentioned the Marmalade is something else , you won’t be able to go back to supermarket brands.

F & M were on Quidco last week and you sometimes get cash back with an AMEX. The florentines are amazing, all the jams are, I love the chocolate pearl biscuits but the best things are the almond topped mince pies. Followed by the potted Stilton. Their rose and violet creams are lovely too and they now do a rose petal and gin truffle - these are my new favourite things.
