Will the DVLA send my stuff back?

I sent my passport and marriage certificate, the new licence came back two days ago and still no sign of my documents.

Have I screwed up by not including an SAE? It didn't ask for one.

They should be returned separately within a couple of weeks. I think its sent separate so if someone takes the envelope then they dont have all your documents and identification.

Phew thanks, I hope you're right as It's a new passport.

Might take a little longer with covid, and I think they send them with 2nd class post.
If you've not got them after 3 weeks, maybe give them a call.
