Christmas adverts 2020

I know they aren’t all out yet but there are 3 I know of so far...

The Disney one made me cry Envy but I really love the Amazon advert. I think it’s beautiful

The Amazon one makes me cry every time I see it. I hate Amazon but it's a good ad.

I used to do ballet so loved the Amazon one.

DHs family are from the Philippines and DSs have a lolo and lola - poor DH burst into tears as he doesn't know when he's next seeing them.

I didn't quite 'get' the Disney one. The dates confused me, the number of generations, and where the boy went. I probably think too hard.

I like the Aldi one and the fact they have the same theme of Kevin carrot each year.

I liked the aldi one the best, just lighthearted and fun. Amazon made me cry. Didn't get the Disney one.

I think the kid in the McDonald's one is modelled on my teenager. She has a yellow hoodie just like that and those moments when he pulls his hood tight and disappears inside are very familiar!

I always love the JL one and it never fails to make me cry. This years is no exception and Celeste's voice is perfect for the ad

Lmao, I was scrolling through the barrages of "awww, so sad/emotional" etc... Then this hits, made me laugh. I can just imagine being stood discussing it in a room, this poster would be the one just on the outer circle who hadnt said anything for a while, and just comes out with this one liner after listening to everyone else Grin

.......so should probably get out more.

*off to watch the ads, now.
