Spiky strips for fences to keep cats in/out

Does anyone have these and do they work? The internet seems to give mixed reviews, some people saying they’re great, others saying the cats can climb over the top

They're fucking spiteful. You won't deter a cat just injure it

I had as £500 vets Bill after my cat jumped down onto one of these

Police recommended them to me after a break in.

The spikes are very hard and sharp and would deter a person but I think cats would find a way round them if you didn't cover every panel top, gate and post cap with them.

And yes, I think for cats they're cruel. Not for burglars though, they can fuck right off.
