Anyone with kids that Have NOT started Xmas shopping yet?

I have only got a couple of smaller things. I have two DDs aged 16 and 12 and they're HARD to buy for! I have bought one a nice handbag and a poster, the other a nice makeup set and jewellry set. That's it! Apart from some Christmas Pjs!

I think they both need a new phone so I will get those but also need more bits and bobs.

Me! We've bought nothing yet.

Whilst my D.C. are now adult, I have not yet purchased a Christmas present and neither would I have done so by this date in any year previously unless you count things I may have picked up whilst on holiday at October half term (not this year!)

Absolutely loads of people in real life!

Me. Just haven't had time. I know what I want to get but need to research where to buy for prices. Starting to worry there'll be nothing left!

Me. Actually I take that back I bought DD2 a hairbrush at Tesco the other day.

Me .not done a single thing..no enthusiasm. I will have to get my arse in gear though...maybe next month!!!

Me. Waiting for a day off to go and check out the posh gifts and food section of the garden centre (not for the kids)! We will order online for the kids when we have had time to sit down and discuss it. Thankfully here we do stockings and one big pressie for them, as they get so much from other family and that’s always been the case.

I have an 11 and 21 yo and a million nieces and nephews.
I'll get it done. Strangely enough I'm not really feeling the spirit at the moment.

Me too. DS changes his mind about what he wants, so shopping in advance would not work out well.

It is dd2's birthday today, and when I was shopping for her birthday I thought I really should think about doing it earlier this year due to expected slow deliveries.

So I have just started.

But I don't think I'll buy anything for my nieces and nephews (all teens) as we won't see them. I think they'll gte money

Me! Have got advent calendars though.

Have bought some chocolates as I want to support the local chocolate shop that doesn't do online ordering/delivery (and didn't want to risk lockdown being extended) but otherwise have done no shopping yet. Might aim for a bit earlier than usual (normally shopping takes place a few days into December!) in case of postal delivery delays.

Only chocolate coins so far! Picking up a book and some wrapping paper on Friday.

Apart from a few stocking fillers i bought in January, I've got nothing for anyone yet! Just don't have the energy or enthusiasm for it at the moment

Yup - 3 kids. Haven't bought a single thing. Money has been impossibly tight with unexpected bills, so it needs to wait til I get paid at the end of the month before I can start.
