What activities do you do with your DS (mine is 10)

DS(10) is sad tonight, he didn’t get a part in the class play, not even a speaking part. We’ve chatted about it, had hugs. We talked about how there always has to be someone left out etc, this time it’s him.

I wanted to do something together to cheer him up so we could spend some time together and I realised I couldn’t think of anything he’d enjoy doing with me 🤦🏼‍♀️

He loves his Xbox, YouTube and playing football. I offered to watch a film with him and snuggle, or do a jigsaw, he thought I’d gone mad.

So, what do you do with your DS?

I have three dc. DS(10) has half an hour of my time before bed where we do what he wants. Normally we watch YouTube videos together. Sometimes we read the Guiness Book of Records. Last night he tried to teach me a Tiktok dance 🤦‍♀️ Sometimes we play Roblox. It’s up to him.

Oh and arm wrestling 😁

I will read to DS (10), or we will watch a film we both like or sometimes we will bake a cake or make biscuits. DH will take him out for a game of football, play a computer game with him or watch a sci-fi or marvel film. We all play cards or a board game (he loves Cluedo).
