Sitting in a bus stop with a coffee.

It's wet and there is nowhere dry to sit! Lockdown sucks!

Waiting for the bus in the rain sucks...lockdown or not! There is always a drip in the corner, and the person with the brolly has already got there and tactfully avoided the drip.....

Are you actually writing for a bus or just looking for somewhere outside to sit and drink coffee? I don't now what bus stop etiquette is.

I'm just sitting there to drink my coffee. I usually live in Caffè Nero on my days off. I would go and sit in the market square and people watch but I'll get a wet bum!

I live on my own so struggling a bit with not seeing people. Though fortunately I still get to go to work. And I love my job.

I have taken to popping a carrier bag in my handbag to sit on, to avoid a soggy bum! A flannel might also help, to wipe down metal/plastic seats, like a mini towel.

It depends on the bus shelter. The one I sat in on Godstone Green on my last journey before the restrictions was lovely, but the one near my house in London I would avoid and find a local park.

I bring a pac-a-mac in my bag to spread out on a bench so I can sit down on it without getting a wet bum.

That's a good idea. It's stopped raining so now in market square with a cup of tea. Bum slightly damp! I hate this state of just existing instead of living. Wishing the days away quickly. Life shouldn't be like that.

Invest in a golf umbrella and a small sitting mat. They are a pain to carry but will keep you dry and you can sit on any bench and people watch.
