Quick question about postage...

I've a coat for sale on fb. Lovely Monsoon coat. Just too small for me unfortunately. Someone contacted me today and wants me to post it to them.
Does anyone have a rough idea how much that would cost. Coat is 3/4 length, wool with a waterfall collar and quite heavy. Don't really want to go to the post office unnecessarily.

The coat originally cost £80, it's on for £12. I've only worn it a handful of times.
Any ideas? I feel like I can't really be bothered. Women lives miles away from me.

Say you'll package it up for her to arrange a courier to collect. She arranges it at her own cost. I've done this several times.

Try looking at Hermes...it’s under a fiver for a small box which a coat might just fit in and would certainly be until the weight limit.

Also have you thought about selling on Vinted or Depop?

You can easily buy postage online with royal mail, parcel force, parcel2go etc. No need for a post office.

You just need to weigh it. Would be quicker than posting here.

@Mynameisntsusan

Vinted or Depop?
Yes, they are apps for selling clothes. You don’t have to pay fees like you would on EBay. They work with courier companies and you can include postage in the price. It’s a decent way of selling and lots of traffic on the apps at the moment.

Thanks namechange84, I will look into that
