Can never fall back to sleep

I’ve never been very good at getting back to sleep after waking up, but it didn’t used to be that common so wasn’t a problem. Now I have DD (16 months) I’m constantly exhausted because anytime she wakes after about 2am, that’s me awake for the day. She generally sleeps through, her waking me up is mainly just 30 seconds of her fussing followed by falling back to sleep, so I’m not even getting out of bed. Even on nights where she does need us to go in to her, DH goes because he can fall back to sleep instantly so wants me to stay in bed so I don’t wake up as much.
When she was first born I assumed I’d get better at this with practice but if anything it’s getting worse. The other night I went to sleep at 10, DD woke me up at around midnight and I didn’t get back to sleep at all. I honestly just feel broken with tiredness all the time.
Wfh helps a bit, I can sometimes nap at lunch time, even if I don’t fall asleep, lying with my eyes shut for half an hour is good. I’m absolutely dreading having to go back into the office, most of the time nowadays I barely feel safe to drive.
I’m sure other people must get this, any tips for getting back to sleep?
