What do I want for my birthday?

As above. My birthday is in 10 days time, and the family are asking what I want. I like reading and have a couple of books in mind, but that's it. I don't want clothes, pyjamas, slippers, candles, bath stuff or booze. I like cooking, reading, watching films, walking, but live in a city, so proper walking stuff not really needed. Redecorating the living room and bedroom in the new year, so maybe some artwork? Any good places to look or to get vouchers for artwork?

If it was your birthday, what would you want? Looking for ideas I've not thought of?

Thank you! Promise not to ask the same question in a month's time gor Christmas....

I don't know, but having told my family exactly what I wanted, Padders slippers and Super dry coat, I got some garden plants, and oversize mug. MIL did well with some books, and my Dad gave me cash, which I bought the coat with.
Why don't people actually buy what you want?
Good luck!

Fancy tea might be nice. And ill have a think about magazines I'd. My mum got me a magazine subscription a few years back, and I really appreciated it, but I'd forgotten about it.

I do like TK Maxx, and always see things I'd like either when I'm not really looking, or I haven't got the cash. So vouchers from there could be good.

What kind of artwork? Fy or Law&Moore have some nice posters. Cushions and throws - vouchers for, from Matalan or Wilkos or Dunelm.

Gloves or headphones for walks.

Any local restaurants doing vouchers for takeaway?
