Am i wrong to be still in love with my ex, even though he has someone else

You feel how you feel but you’d be wrong to do anything about it.

The problem is, i have three kids to him and im now a single parent, i was with him twenty two years and ive tried really hard to get over the split,which only happened last year, he comes every friday to pick up kids who stay overnight with him,when i see him i just feel so in love with him still, i just dont know when these feelings will ever end.

Im just wondering is there anyone else on here been through the same senario,and can give me some advice

Oh god I feel the same, we have two kids. He's a shit, he left me, there's no way I should still love him but I do. Will be 3 years in February. Hoping someone will come along with advice. Never felt brave enough to post about it before

Sorry, wasn't much help was I. All I can say is each year is easier than the last, but it's such a slow process. I tried self help books, meditation, hypnosis etc as I just wanted to switch the love off, just make it stop. But I've had to accept that's just not possible. Well, not for me anyway.

floppy bit maybe we will be lucky in love one day, but like you say its hard to just switch off your feeling, thankyou though.
