Julia Davis always plays the same character - am I a philistine?

I started watching Sally4ever, I’ve seen Camping and a bit of Nighty Night. I like them but watching the last one I’ve realised it’s just the same person repeated - horrible and quite sexual, with different characters around her. Am I missing something?

I liked nightly night, everything else feels derivative.

However I do think comedians have their role and do play very similar characters in most things eg Sharon Horgan, Diane Morgan, Greg Davies.

There was a blonde actress in goodnight sweetheart and emmerdale who basically played herself too 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will check out Hunderby! I’m not saying I don’t like her btw but I just think it’s a bit repetitive. I love Joan and Jericha though! Does anyone else listen?

The steak and kidney pie bit in nighty night is one of the most disturbing things ive ever seen. Shes also the double of a mad drug dealer who used to live around here.

Yes agree, she's always an oversexed bully who uses her attractive body to disrupt the lives of other women. Funny though!
