My plain bathroom mirror has lost the silver around the edge, can I cover up with a simple stick on edging material?

It's just a piece of mirror that was cut to size to fit between 2 windows but the water has caused the silver to fade around the edge.
Can I get something to stick to it to create a frame, something only a few mm thick?

Try spray paint from any good diy shop. Mask it up well first. I've done several mirrors this way, and a light fitting. Just follow the instructions and you'll be grand.

What about the washi tape?

Thank you both for your suggestions.
@BurtonHouse is there a particular type of spray paint for mirrors that you have used, I'd probably do it in white as the tiles and window frame are white?

The one I used was Rustoleum, but it was metallic (silver). Don't know whether they do non-metallic I'm afraid.
