Anybody live on their own? What have you done today?

Live on my own, no pets. Currently unemployed. DM is my support bubble and shes isolating as been in contact with someone who has tested positive.

Today I've cleaned my kitchen, packaged up some things I sold on ebay (will go post office tomorrow) but mostly sat watching tv and doing a cross stitch.

If you live on your own, What have you done today?

Worked and just about to make dinner. Will be off to bed early tonight as there is naff all to do. I've not got a support bubble so I just feel fed up and lonely.

Its miserable isn't it. I'm usually ok in my own company but it's different when it's not by choice.

Taken my dog for a walk, worked, tidied and cleaned a bit, tiny bit of gardening, just eaten dinner and contemplating doing some writing but radio is on very loud to help dog cope with fireworks. Feeling lonely, but for my dog who died in August.

Totally agree! I'm just feeling a bit fed up with this year now.

I have been manically busy at work all day.
Now home alone for the weekend.
Work is not at all normal and it is taking up much more time than it should at the moment, but I am so appreciative that I have a focus for the day and week, and that I see and talk to people there, albeit at a 2m distance or on a series of screens.

Worked. Went to supermarket. Cooked dinner. Now exchanging messages with friends re US election. Then will watch a film. It is fine really but will start feeling dull quite quickly.

Worked from home 8.30am-7pm, supermarket and now Netflix and Mumsnet. Will read for a bit before bed.

I don't live alone, but feel like I do. Partner didn't go to bed until 9am, and he is still in bed now. I have had to return to working from home again and feeling safer, but miserable at being stuck here for another month.

Today, I've worked from 7.30am til around 6pm, watched some Food Network, fed the cats, cleaned the kitchen, waited to see if he would get up for dinner and then made something for myself when it got past our usual time to eat.

Now I'm browsing MN with Bake-Off Extra Slice on in the background and wondering if I want to go to bed with him still in there.

Today was a tough day mentally. I need to get fresh air tomorrow I think that is half my problem.
