Share your little excitements amid the tedium of lockdown. We’ve had seven pairs of jogging bottoms for DD from Next and a packet of Amazon Basics batteries. Such thrills!

Replacement dinner plates, as a new service arrived with 7 of them smashed. (Brilliant customer service from Procook btw)

Knitpro double ended knitting needles as my old ones in that size were my Mums and she died 30 years ago and were very bent.

Hadalifeonce · 04/12/2020 14:53

A box of meat, and a box of doughnuts.

Twinkie01 · 04/12/2020 14:57

A box from Lakeland and a box of craft beer. Both for our dreadful neighbours opposite but I felt so sorry for the delivery guy that I took them in 😡

MillieVanilla · 04/12/2020 14:58

A funko Pop character that DD picked for DS for Christmas and a manga book for him as well

Holothane · 04/12/2020 15:16

My Christmas jumper and I wore it to the local shops😊

PoppyOppy · 04/12/2020 16:19

Sample box of tea bags, an oil-based Sharpie pen, 12 bottles of wine, 5kg of dried fruit, 36 bags of Scampi fries and sheet glass. Most of the above were ordered after drinking cava on Sunday. Blush

Nintendo keyring, telescope and the North Pole Lockdown book.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 04/12/2020 22:12

An A4 spiral-bound Rhodia notebook and a box of sensory toys for DD.

MadisonAvenue · 04/12/2020 22:16

Nothing. Royal Mail were supposed to deliver a new lipstick (which I was excited about as lipstick is my cheer-me-up purchase) but, despite the tracking still saying at 10.15pm that it’ll be delivered today, it’s obviously not going to be here.

SpudsandGravy · 04/12/2020 22:24

An inflatable bed for use when I stay over at my aunt's house, to help. It's fantastic!

WellTidy · 04/12/2020 23:03

The pizza box for our cleaners pizza blanket.

Scarby9 · 05/12/2020 00:06

A calendar of quilts and a Guinea pig on a sleigh in an oversized box from Culture Vulture. Two excellent gifts for the people I have chosen them for( in my opinion!).

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 07/12/2020 19:19

A long, black fleece coat from Arket; some Origins moisturiser; a couple of pairs of black jogging bottoms from H&M.

BiddyPop · 08/12/2020 09:59

I'm still waiting on badges for my Cubs before the last session of the year on Saturday - but I have a dispatch notice as of yesterday for them so fingers crossed...

AdoraBell · 08/12/2020 13:49

A bookcase.

MrsDThomas · 08/12/2020 15:39

20kg dumbells. Christmas present for my 16 yr old DD.

Got the text to say it was delivered and messaged my 18 yr old DD to check it had arrived at ours, not anyone else’s house. She said yes, and it was on the doorstep.

And it was still there when i got in from shopping as she couldn’t lift the box 😂

chickenshedinthesky · 08/12/2020 15:50

I had a mini Christmas tree from Bloom and Wild (treat for myself... it's so pretty, and came with baubles, chocolate coins, sweets and battery operated lights.

I also received an amazing pair of new leggings which make my bum look great and a canvas print of a picture I ordered on Etsy, turning myself, Mr Chicken and the cats into the Simpson's. It looks great, but the canvas is a lot bigger than I realised!! Blush

PickAChew · 08/12/2020 15:54

A heated throw. Been meaning to get one ever since we moved into this house.

jessstan1 · 08/12/2020 15:55

Nothing! Not even a flipping Christmas card or even a begging letter from a charity today. I feel quite bereft when there is no post or delivery. Never mind, there's always tomorrow and I received a few things yesterday.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 08/12/2020 17:21

A BNWT padded jacket I won for £4 on eBay...!It's in the washing machine now

WildRosie · 08/12/2020 18:08

This morning, APC Couriers brought me a new tilting and lifting mechanism for my desk chair. Great service - tracked the delivery van from miles away to my car park. Something that Hermes could learn from.

Scarby9 · 08/12/2020 21:20

A kilo of milk chocolate brazils.

Holothane · 08/12/2020 23:27

For dh a Rangers scarf and beanie hat.

Two monitors, but one has some dead pixels and will have to be replaced.
