Share your little excitements amid the tedium of lockdown. We’ve had seven pairs of jogging bottoms for DD from Next and a packet of Amazon Basics batteries. Such thrills!

Some back issues of a collectable journal, to complete the run,
a bum hose, which I'm not brave enough to try to fit myself,
a boxed set of the Detectorists, a present,
a rather beautiful vintage Tarot deck,
green paint for the back doors
catering tin of powdered milk for my stores
large pack of cinnamon, to keep DH happy
Cider, ditto
some oud oil, to keep me happy Smile

Nanasueathome · 27/11/2020 11:13

@stampsurprise I always do!!

This week has been a flurry of Mario Lego, Minecraft Lego and Freestyle Scooters. The only way we’ve afforded it I’ve justified to myself is that we/my son had a decent DLA outcome, so the gifts will give me a bit of a rest during our very early starts and never ending trips out that we do to burn off energy.

Wine

SweetPetrichor · 27/11/2020 13:54

A pack of 50 3g pots - probably meant for lip balm or similar but I’m using them as water bowls for my smaller tarantulas. I use tattoo ink pots for water for the babies and plastic sauce bowls for the adults but hopefully this will be ideal for those middle sized ones!
And a pack of fake succulents, to add decor to a few of their enclosures. Next week I’ve got a box of Black Friday deals coming for them...they won’t appreciate it but at least they’re homes will look refreshed!

CaraDuneRedux · 27/11/2020 13:58

Dog harness for the puppy in the car.

New drumsticks for DS (the puppy ate the old ones).

TroysMammy · 27/11/2020 14:03

Five new inks for card making. I've counted how many I now have and perhaps the ink storage item I've ask for Christmas is too small. Never mind, my birthday is in January so there's scope for another.

A Christmas tree! Artificial, replacing the one with bastarding 'bottle brush style' tips that are so fat half the baubles don't have loops big enough to hang on them.
