Share your little excitements amid the tedium of lockdown. We’ve had seven pairs of jogging bottoms for DD from Next and a packet of Amazon Basics batteries. Such thrills!

@Mydogisagentleman

Bag of dog food. I am relatively new to having it delivered, I need to contact them to miss a couple of months because I have another unopened one already
Can you change the delivery frequency?
Mydogisagentleman · 18/11/2020 19:49

@suelleker
I don’t know. Apparently it is calculated on his age,weigh, activity level and breed
He is an almost 4 year old 10kg lazy Bedlington who, despite being fed the prescribed amount doesn’t seem to be making any headway into it

Amazon delivery of command hooks, twinnings chai teabags, three packets of jelly beans. Shame I can’t eat them yet because covid cough is making me gag when it comes to food.

MrGorksy · 18/11/2020 20:44

Quite a lot which is a bit embarrassing as they're all from different places. We're doing some stuff in the house so I've been ordering things for various rooms.
Today I've had some boxes, towels, cushions and a cardigan.
Yesterday was more boxes and some picture frame mounts.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 18/11/2020 21:04

A shirt for ds1 came this evening. I ordered it on Saturday, he needed it for this morning so not exactly successful.

Thankfully I also ordered a blue one but that turned out to be checked which I thought he would hate! Amazingly he liked it, wore it for his University interview and it went well.

Kind of feel the white one needs to go back now, maybe the blue is lucky for him😳🤣

Also impulse bought a hotel chocolat hamper but not arrived yet.

SpillingTheTea · 18/11/2020 21:14

NOTHING been waiting for 2 weeks for 2 parcels through Royal Mail.

KatyaZamolodchikova · 18/11/2020 22:03

A new coat.
And yesterday I forgot to post and had a wall mounted clothing rail delivered for DSDs room so she can hang her clothes up instead of scrunching them all up at the bottom of her bed 🙄

@SomethingNastyInTheBallPool

My yoga mat arrived, after its nationwide tour!
This ☝️ my yoga mat finally arrived today. Ordered at the end of October but was sat at the delivery office without the postie leaving a card. I requested a redelivery without any card details on a small chance they'd actually do it but happy days it worked.
DumpedByText · 18/11/2020 22:22

Gel nail polish in a lovely dark shimmery green shade. I have a uv lamp and love it. The polish looks really good and lasts up to two weeks at a time. I recently bought a sparkly brown shade and decided to get another as they only cost about around £7 each. I also received a kneadable eraser.

sueelleker · 19/11/2020 09:27

Nothing yet, but I've had a notification that my Donald Russell order is due between 10.10 and 11.10 this morning.

AdoraBell · 19/11/2020 12:31

Yesterday, exam certificates for DDs.

Today I’m waiting for the postie to deliver a book I ordered.

AdoraBell · 19/11/2020 12:35

@sueelleker is Donald Russell meat good? I’ve seen the adverts but haven’t ordered yet. I usually buy from a butcher in the nearest town but their business is shrinking Sad so I might need an alternative source.

It's excellent, but a bit expensive. I usually buy it when they've got special offers on. They also do ready meals. The stuff comes frozen, packed with dry ice; and you can choose your delivery day. They then email you with a one-hour delivery slot.
Redglitter · 19/11/2020 17:32

All very exciting 🙄

ilovebagpuss · 19/11/2020 17:33
