Wwyd with 2 days off work?

Minds gone blank... I'm tired and skint but have two days off work and don't want to waste them scrolling on my phone... I have a couple of walks and a bit of cooking planned, but they are things I need more than want to do. What would you do with a couple of days free?

I need to clean my windows. I’m not sure that’s what you were looking for...

I normally make two lists-fun and useful. A few things on each. Fun is a bit more tricky with the lockdown. Probably download some new podcasts and enjoy the sunshine. Do some online exercise classes. Make a good cup of coffee and sit somewhere nice with a good book. Have a long bath. Walk with a friend.

Write Christmas cards!

Read a book. I have one that I have been saving to savour for when I take my Christmas break. Reading is one of the few simple pleasures of life... and a proper book not kindle or Audio. The type you smell abs savour and stain with tea spillages

*and not abs Hmm

Mine would be go for a bike ride and watch a film or binge watch TV programmes, maybe read a book.

Or alternatively work through my ever-long to do list if I cant relax because of it.

Walk on the beach or the forest. If you don't have those on your doorstep though that's probably not allowed now.

Settle in with a couple of books and Netflix and snacks.

Home spa day where I do everything, shave, dye, pluck, facemask, the lot.

Bake a cake.

Walk, nice lunch, although it would have to be a takeaway, but this is no hardship for me as there's a new fish and chip shop I want to try. TV catch up. I started watching Mrs America and realised I'd sat through 1.5 episodes without really paying attention so I want to get through that next.

Cook, and walk. It's lovely weather here today.

HIIT workouts
Power walks/runs
House clean
Decorate the kitchen
Shopping for new kitchen décor

Can you tell what I'll be doing this weekend? Grin

I would take two days off during the week when I know I would be home alone -and in charge of the remote-and do as I pleased, watched what I wanted without the sighing or tutting, or any other interference.

PaddingtonStareBare · 05/11/2020 13:13

strike though fail 😁

Catch up on some sleep.
A nice walk with DH and the dog.
Maybe pop out to our local takeaway place for lunch.
Christmas shopping (online, obviously).
Enjoy some proper down time at home.

One day housework, one day treat (or am housework and pm treats).

Treats including sitting down in the afternoon and watching a film, reading a book.

Are there any jobs that need doing - sweeping up leaves, cleaning kitchen cupboards, changing wardrobe from summer to winter. Are there any tv series you’ve been meaning to watch? People you’ve been meaning to contact?
