How is it working in an office at the moment?

So the situation is that I’ve accepted a post where I’ll be working in an office with one or two more people.
To be honest, I’m getting really anxious about it. How is it at the moment if anyone works in an office? I understand it will be a small office and usually one other person, or occasionally two.
Obvs referring to the covid situation at the moment.
Thanks.

Fine! I'm in an office on a manufacturing site and have been back in since July.

In my office there are 2/3 of us, one of whom is in and out slot. There is another much bigger office with about 5-7 people.

I have a routine where I hand sanitise every time I leave or go back to my desk. I don't even think about it anymore. I have definitely become closer to my colleagues onsite though, we feel like a proper little team. Particularly the colleague I share with every day (we didn't sit together pre-covid). That's a lovely, unexpected, side to it all.

Dp's company have worked throughout. Companies have to ensure social distancing and cleaning routines are implemented then assess individuals for risk level. In manufacturing things haven't stopped in many sectors which means the offices and suppliers needed to remain open. He's had two cases both before the March lockdown and measures were put in place.

Studies have shown that workplace transmission is most likely to occur in canteens, break rooms and transport to work rather than the job!

Work in a converted 3 bed semi. Up to 3 people in the "second bedroom" no way to socially distance, we all use the same computers. I wipe down the keyboard and phone between users if i remember and handsanitize all the time but still scared all the time..

movingonup.... that’s a good point. I think I had heard that about canteens too.
Maybe once I’m there I’ll feel better😬
