Cracked windscreen... how much to replace?

It’s for a young driver who already has astronomical insurance from a previous claim so I don’t want to claim for the wind screen. I know it makes a difference to renewal premiums even though it would just be windscreen. Does anyone know roughly what the prices are as I can’t find anything online! Thanks

Spoken to a well known windscreen firm and paying 200. Would have paid 85 excess anyway. The firm said a lot of insurers don’t offer cover do 50/50 of their work is not insurance, I phoned a well known other firm and their charge was an eye watering 450!
The one I’m having has the heat and rain sensors too. Thanks for all your help, I’m not as stressed now!

This really depends on your insurance cover and the excess amount that you will pay to use your insurance to cover the work. In some insurance cases when you do make an insuranc claim it can mean that you loose your no claims bonus.
