We are moving out of a furnished rented property, so we don't have a full house of furniture. We do have some extra bits - cot, some small storage units, tumble drier, microwave. And of course our belongings. But no beds, sofa, wardrobes, table, bookshelves. We prefer to pack our boxes ourselves, so it will be a case of wanting people to load the van, drive and unload it.
We are moving house to a different area and wondering whether to use a traditional removal firm or a local recommended 'man and van' type company that does removals? The latter is around half the price and has been recommended by several people in the local FB group.
I am leaning towards the 'man and van' (they will provide 2 men so I suppose I should call it 'men and van' 
). DH prefers the traditional moving company, although he also says they are too expensive....
