Noisy party on a Wednesday night!?

My neighbours’ teenagers are having a party in the garden with some friends. Music blasting from a speaker in the garden and lots of drunken shouting. Is that a good idea on a Wednesday night? My dd has school tomorrow (and an exam) and I have work. Theses are tiny terrace houses, so can’t get away from the noise...

I think its Tuesday?

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/11/2020 23:02

It’s still Tuesday. Have you been on the wines?

AvoidingRealHumans · 03/11/2020 23:12

I had to double check the day then.
Its inconsiderate of them but I would ignore it if this is a rare occurrence and assume they are having a pre lockdown party.
If its happening often then maybe speak with them or their parents about it.

Are you posting this for tomorrow?

kirktonhouse · 03/11/2020 23:15

One heck of a party if you're already complaining about it 24 hours before it even starts!

Notcontent · 03/11/2020 23:18

Sorry - I meant Tuesday!! No, I have not been drinking. I am just a tired working parent, with too much to worry about at the moment - it’s obviously affecting my brain.

If it's happening after 11pm midweek it's definitely unreasonable.

Here’s an idea, why don’t you tell your neighbour it’s disturbing you and ask if they’d please turn it down Confused
