..until lockdown is over. I'll miss it terribly.

What will you miss?

My DD’s will miss their karate. Their grading s were scheduled to be next week (delayed from March) but have been pulled forward to today. Over the summer they were meeting a coach in the park and doing some training, but they can’t even do that now,

I will miss having the house to myself for a few hours while DH works. He’ll be back on furlough tomorrow

kayaking on the river, I’m waiting for the club message to say the doors are closed again

My local pool was closed pre-initial lockdown & work stopped. It has only been open 2 weeks... Given one week was half term, I hadn't visited it yet!
They must be cursing.
Likewise my local cinema had shut last year for work on removing asbestos. It was due to open this summer. Again it's only been open a fortnight.

I swam 1-3x a week (depending on work rota) before pregnancy, was going to go 3-4x a week in pregnancy, and got pregnant right before lockdown so haven't been since. My midwife advised against in 3rd trimester as at that stage strict social distancing is recommended. I miss it so much, and think it would have helped with the discomforts of pregnancy like nothing else has. I hope to take my baby in their first year, but we'll see.

Still waiting to hear if libraries will close, I will hear tomorrow, according to my boss. If they do, I will miss volunteering in my village one. I was also working in lots if them in a supply capacity & not been needed (or paid/furloughed) since March, so the volunteering was making me feel useful & needed Sad

On a lighter note, I'll miss my weekly coffees with all 3 of my besties together (will still do individual walks) & drinking coffee in a cafe or tea room garden.
