I've only recently become eligible for one of these, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the discounts and offers! I wondered if anyone would like to share their best buys?

Yes! I love my blue light card and between 5-22 November we receive 10%off in Morrisons!

My Best Buy was for my brother. He was getting a bike for my nephew and the bike was on sale and I had a code for about 40% off and the bike was already on sale but it accepted the code on top. The bike was around £200 we got it for about £80

My friend at work was actually talking about one of these cards, as we are health care assistants but not NHS I assumed that we are not eligible.

Anyone got a card and not work for the NHS ?

I work in an NHS practice but not employed by the NHS. You should qualify!

If you go on the Blue Light website there is a list of who is eligible

We got 5% discount off my dd's orthodontic treatment with my husband's blue light card, saved about £150. Its well worth asking if places accept them, you can get some great savings in the most unexpected places.
