Yesterday my car wouldn't start. I was late for work and then had to deal with some rude students who quite frankly do not deserve the education opportunities. Luckily my car was okay. Easy fix and not too costly.
Today, had a long drive so took DH car in case mine wasn't up to the drive. 5 mins in, a kid drove into the side of the car as I pulled out of a junction - apparently his brakes are a bit stiff!
The kid slammed into the windscreen. I checked him over, rang his mum to come get him - she couldn't get rid of me quick enough.
Went on my way - running late for the second day in a row. Get to work just on time and the students don't turn up!
On my way home, I realised there is a crack where the lad crashed into it! I have since recalled he wasn't wearing a helmet so he is bloody lucky he walked away with bruises and nothing worse!
The windscreen will need to be replaced with money we don't actually have! I didn't get his details so cannot ask the parents to contribute although I am not comfortable with that option anyay.
It's only tuesday and things come in threes apparenty so what will tomorrow bring? Or can my third shit encounter be thursdays lockdown?
