Clicking / popping feeling in throat when swallow

Sometimes when I swallow I get a clicking / popping / rubbing cartilage feeling in my throat. It doesnt happen every time and is possibly related to the position I'm in. It's at the top of my throat and when it happens I can also feel it from the outside.

I'm feeling quite anxious about health at the moment and worrying about other things too. I'm not sure how long my swallowing has been like this and when I'm bust I dont even notice it but when i stop and sit i do. I may have been like it for years and I've only just noticed or it may have ksit started in the last few days - I couldnt tell you.

Does anyone else have this sensation? I actually already have a doctors apt booked for another thing this week but I will also ask them about this (if I'm allowed to do that!) Just wanted to ask people on here in the meantime

Just a little nudge to see if anyone else sees this

This happened to me. It was like my adams apple was clicking. It was really uncomfortable.

I did see GP who felt throat and said it seemed ok. It did go away, still occurs once in a while

Thank you for replying @GloGirl - makes me feel better to hear that it could just be one of those things

Still worth seeing a GP about, if only for reassurance Flowers

The more I thought about it the worse it was for sure!
