Will the post office still be open during lockdown ?

Yes.

Last time some of them closed but some stayed open. This time around, a lot of the local ones in shops have installed plastic screens so I'm hoping they'll stay open more.

According to the government's approved list, then yes they should be.

I went to one in a WH Smith today, and heard the lady behind the counter say to another customer that she didn't yet know if they would be open on Thursday and beyond.
