I was there in February and had a wonderful time...
Its happened near a synagogue... I was saddened to see that the Jewish Museum had to have a security guard on the door when I visited.

I went through Swedenplatz lots of times... I felt very safe when out at night on my own.

It's on the night before the country locks down too

Austrian police say several attackers armed with rifles, one person confirmed dead, a terror suspect too. Many injured. This was the last night before lockdown, city busy with people enjoying one last evening in company. This is awful.

That makes it even worse.

I watched it on the news.. Someone was filming on their phone. I could hear an English voice in the background saying "Oh My God. Where's your Mum!?" 😔 😔 😔 😔 😔
