It's taken forever to get the results due to covid.
The letter basically says white brain matter been found.
Maybe need a spinal fluid type thing.
What the hell is it?
What does it mean?
Dr Google has ranged from Cancer all the way through to Ms and everything in between.
I'm panicking now

Hi @quarentini have they just posted your results and not offered you a follow up with a clinician to discuss them? If not it might be worth a call to your GP tomorrow to see if they can go through them with you as they should also have a copy.

I’m the worst for looking on Google and finding the worst outcome, but do try and steer clear till you’ve had a chat with your GP or whoever sent the letter. Easier said than done I know!

No one has contacted me and I am planning on trying to contact my go tomorrow.
I've literally spent hours on Google which is definitely not helping.
The letter just said further treatment would be needed as the white matter is not in the normal area,or something to that effect.

My understanding is white brain matter can be something you never know about unless you have an MRI.
It can be a sign of some degeneration. I'm not sure in exactly what way though.

Dh did research into MRI imaging and he said it's amazing how much a brain can actually be damaged/effected with no shown effects at all. In days gone by no one would have ever known there was a potential issue.
