If you've stopped taking a newspaper biw everything is online, what do you use when you need "old newspaper".

Here it's used for:

-stuffing wet shoes
-wrapping messy food waste
-various things whilst decorating
-wrapping broken glass
-kids' craft projects

I'm sure there are more but now the free local paper has been stopped, we don't have any newspaper in the house.

I feel your pain. I broke a glass the other day and had no clue what to wrap the bits in! Thankfully a free leaflet thing came in from the council yesterday so I will hang onto that just in case, lol.

If I'm decorating, I do actually go and buy a newspaper. I read the first few pages, the culture pages, do the crossword and then cover the floor with it.

Broken glass I wrap in kitchen roll.
