Do you use a stylus for drawing? What kind to get DS?

DS wants a stylus for drawing on his PC but I have no idea what to look for in one!

I've just had a look but there are loads of different ones, and lots seem to be for iPad. Others are calling themselves a pen shaped mouse, but that's a different thing, isn't it? DS wants to be able to connect it to his computer (by USB I assume) and draw with it.

Where do I start?! Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks.

Wacom make a drawing pad with a pen that connects to the computer. It’s called the Intuos I think.

I use an iPad and Apple Pencil then move the file to my Mac for editing.

The Wacom lets you draw straight onto the screen though. I know a few graphics people who use them and rate them.

Wacom are the best. The starter one at around £50 works great for us - we use it for design for our business. It doesn’t have pressure but honestly it’s not needed until you are really good.

I use a wacom one tablet and pen for when I'm editing photos.

Great advice thanks so much! Seems really simple now - I didn't have a clue last night!

If you are sketching on a PC, then (unless your PC is a Microsoft Surface which has a touch sensitive screen), then you'll need to get something like a Wacom tablet. There are a whole range of these depending on price/performance. Don't buy a mouse/pen, they are AWFUL

If you bought a lower end Wacom, then that's a good way to experiment. The current generation of iPad and Apple Pencil are freaking great!
