Really good wine. Cheese subscription or a really good cheeseboard, or hamper.

What's your budget. Waitrose have just launched some fantastic Whisky or Gin cocktail tasting boxes, Beautifully packaged www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/waitrose-the-experience-box-whisky-cocktails-at-home/489637-741060-741061

If you are doing tasting alcohol I would always recommend unsung master of malt. You have such a wide selection you can ice and choose from to build a box “by the dram”.

MiddleClassProblem · 01/11/2020 22:48

*unsung should have been using but equally appropriate

Steak stone

Tank driving experience

Twintub · 01/11/2020 23:05

Budget between 60-80 maybe prefer to spend less. I will have a look in to the Waitrose thing. I don’t think he likes whiskey and love the idea of a tank day but maybe not be his. Hee hee

Master of malt do many types of alcohol (and many of each) in tasting portions

I would suggest tickets for rugby or cricket but not this year. What about tickets for Commonwealth Games in Birmingham for next year? Does he like sports?

Twintub · 01/11/2020 23:53

Ohh there’s an idea 💡 these are great as got to but also for son, husband and brother !

Does he like nature/gardening? One of my best 60th gifts was a bird table (saddo)

What about a wine tasting evening, or course - if he likes wine of course Grin
Or a voucher for a special restaurant - Michelin starred maybe ? - for when we can go out again.

Or does he like his garden ? - Lots of ideas for there
